CipherLab 1664 is a lightweight, ultra-compact barcode reader able to read high-density 1D barcodes, and additional with the capability of 2D barcode capture. The device is perfectly designed to meet the scanning needs in healthcare, field sales and field service.
Bluetooth® connectivity and paired with scanner - Bluetooth "Dongle" transponder - allow instant data acquisition to a PDA, PC, smartphone or any Bluetooth-enabled device or with USB port, keeping your back-end system updated. The reader can hold over 10 000 scans in its 4MB buffer memory, when the device is out of BT range and transfer data when it's back in range. Running on a rechargeable Li-ion battery 3.7V 850 mAh, the scanner can operate all day long to work across shifts and increase productivity.
Smaller than a mobile phone, CipherLab 1664 is also very rugged (IP42 ingress protection) and resistant for multiple drops onto concetrate from up to 1.5m.
