Combo Smart

Combo Smart is the newest OCR reader designed for control and identification systems based on passports, identity cards and other similar documents. Is an ideal solution for MRZ data reading of passports. The image taking process and the MRZ reading is fast and reliable and they both take less than a second together. 

The device reads, encodes and werifies all kinds of data from passports, visas, ID cards, driver's licenses and plastic cards (business cards, loyalty cards, magnetic stripe cards). It also reads 1D and 2D bar codes placed on both the paper documents and mobile phones displays.

Smart Combo OCR reader, unlike the model ID709 has a larger scanning field (125mm x 88mm) allows to encode data from the new biometric passports. High performance DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and higher quality optical system allows you to record images at 500 dpi resolutions. Uniquely compact size and ergonomic design makes it useful in places such as: casinos, banks, hotels and airports.

OCR Smart Combo reader can also be embedded into kiosks, displays or access control terminals. Two auxiliary USB ports offer convenient connectivity of external devices.
