cnPilot 501S is perfect for demanding, high density applications and longer range coverage across large areas, including: industrial or education campuses, enterprise and hospitality  complexes, public parks and recreational areas, or just about any demanding outdoor  environment requiring cost-effective, controller managed WLAN access points. The distinctive element of e501S is the sector antenna (90 ~ 120 degrees), which enables precise targeting of the signal beam to the areas previously excluded from its range.. The device is equipped with a standard set of features of Cambium Networks routers: support for up to 256 independent clients, 16 SSIDs, WPA-2 encryption, dynamic VLAN, DFS channels, access control lists (ACL), roaming without a controller, dynamic channel selection, automatic transmission power control and band steering function. The additional Ethernet PoE port eliminates the need to use a second power line and is ideal for connecting a standard 802.3af camera or wireless modules connecting 'hotspots' to the broadcasting station - PMP450 and ePMP by Cambium Networks. This set of features makes cnPilot cn501S ideally suited to the needs of open industrial and public spaces that require high-quality coverage of a wireless Wi-Fi network.
