CipherLab RS51 data terminal is a successor to CipherLab RS50, which have proven its high functionality at many fields. The new generation of the RS series has the same housing – the differences are hidden inside the device.

The RS51 is equipped with new Octa-Core 1.8GHz CPU and huge memory for the mobile device – 16GB Flash and 2GB RAM. Satisfying memory power for professional purpose. However, unlike the RS50, the RS51 is also available in more powerful version with 4GB RAM and 64GB Flash – on request. What is more, the internal memory of the device may be upgraded with Micro SD card of maximal capacity of 32GB or SDXC up to 64GB. The RS51 mobile computer is powered by Android 8.0 Oreo operating system which highly enhances the device’s workspeed, power management effectiveness and data storage safety. Google Mobile Services toolset comes in pair with the Oreo OS. The GMS is very handful in most cases.With the release of the new versions of the Android OS, the terminal CipherLab RS51 will be updated. The RS51 is equipped with 1D/2D scanning engine of standard or medium range. This QR reading module allows decoding every type of the graphic code fast and reliably, even in case of codes are poorly printed or damaged. The new generation of the RS50 has also been equipped with new image sensor – 8MPx sensor has been replaced with 13MPx which will improve keeping records of admissions.

Communiation between the user and the device is very easy. You can operate RS51 as good with a bare hand or gloved hand and with a stylus as well. CipherLab RS51 may be powered with one of the two lithium-ion batteries available in our offer: 3.8V 4000mAh that allows working for at least 12 hours constantly, or 3,75V 5300 mAh which will provide energy for the terminal for 16 hours minimum. CipherLab RS51 is equipped with a very wide range of radio data transmitting technologies. There are dual SIM slots and additional SAM slot. Full Wi-Fi support is provided in Dual-Band standard. Additionally the device provides HF RFID 13.56 MHz communication and NFC data transmission. Just as its previous generation, RS51 is resistible to falls and bumps from a height of 1.8m to the concrete floor. It is also certified with IP67 class impermeability, so half an hour submergence in water is also not a danger for RS51 mobile computer. It is also backward compliant with all the RS50 accessories: charging-communication cradle, USB charging-communication snap-on cable, 4-slot battery charger, pistol grip and 5-slot terminal charging cradle. Additionally, there’s a vehicle cradle now available for RS51.

Thanks to its versatility, CipherLab RS51 data terminal is able to replace few other devices such as payment terminal, stock controller, barcode reader, smartphone, PDA and many, many other.
