Large 3-inch touch screen and LED-backlite keypad with 24 or 44 keys allow workers making error-free data input and to complete their tasks in a variety of lighting conditions.

The CipherLab 8700 offers multiple data input alternatives including laser, linear imager, 2D imager, and RFID. On top of that, the long range laser option enables data collection from a distance in a warehousing or manufacturing setting. GPS is also incorporated into the device, allowing you to instantly locate and track staffs for a more efficient operation. In addition the device is equipped with a wide range of wireless connections (WLAN,WPAN,WWAN), which are improve communication and workflow in various applications.

Certified with IP64 rating, 1.5 m drop test and 1000 tumbles at 1 m, the 8700 Series is able to operate between -20^oC and 55^oC, delivering reliable and powerful data processing wherever required. In addition, the 8700 series provides nearly 170* hours of operation in batch mode and 66* hours of continuous usage in WLAN mode, facilitating workflow without interruption.
