FR4050 Koi

The FR4050 Koi is a counter imager designed for small and mid-size businesses. The built-in Scan Mode Switch at the top of the scanner lets user to quickly select between the Regular mode and Screen mode, that allows scanning codes on electronic displays.

Wide field of view combined with built-in IR sensor provide scanner with an exceptional motion tolerance that enhances user’s experience and comfort. FR4050 Koi is a processor-based scanner. Armed with Newland’s fifth-generation of UIMG technology, the FR4050 is capable of reading 1D as well as high-volume 2D barcodes on the surface covered with protective, shiny film.

The device fulfils IP50 standard, so dust can’t penetrate its housing. Multiple drops from above 1.2 m height on a concrete cannot damage its solid body (six sides, one drop per side).

The Koi fixed presentation scanner is tailored for a wide variety of applications in retail such as pharmacy, cosmetics & drug stores, smaller sized grocery stores, tobacco kiosks and in a ticketing booth for reading and validating mobile or paper tickets.
