The FM80 is designed to scan codes in motion. It will successfully capture a product code that has been moved in the scanner's field of view, even if the movement speed was up to 3.5 m/s. Built-in systems ensure that one product is not scanned twice. The software recognizes whether the code has been placed in front of the scanner intentionally, tracking its position and speed of movement.
The casing contains 6 mounting points, which allow the scanner to be mounted effectively on the workstation, and has a soft gasket on the front edge to ensure a tighter and more fitting connection. The producer states that the scanner has an IP52 protection, ensuring protection against dust and water.
Readings are taken using megapixel scanning technology. This ensures efficient reading of damaged, small size codes and those located on irregular surfaces.
