The FM3056 Grouper II from Newland is a small footprint 2D area imager designed for every surface or device mount. Whether it’s a cash desk, or self-service POS housing, user is free to install FM3056 Grouper II anywhere. The device is 53mm tall, so it fits everywhere. The connection itself is also very easy – just plug the scanner into the computer and it’s ready to work in no time. FM3056 Grouper II is a flush mount scanner – the glass that covers the imager creates the same surface with the host device or desk. Therefore, FM3056 Grouper II suits perfectly for business purposes. The concave equivalent of the FM3056 is the FM3051 Grouper II – additionally protected by the area imager housing.
The module is able to scan all the common types of 1D/2D codes, including those displayed on the screen of the mobile device – Grouper II suits perfectly for loyalty programs and vouchers validation.
Thanks to its IR feature, lack of environmental light is not a problem to FM3056 Grouper II.
