Symbol DS3508 is a rugged bar codes reader of Zebra especially dedicated to improve productivity in logistics and gives high-performance data capture to harsh industrial environments.

Scanner delivers extremely fast and accurate data capture of 1D/2D bar codes and images. To meet diverse needs the DS3508 is available in three different models: - SR version standard for most applications; - HD version optimized to capture very small, high density 2D bar codes and - DP version which has the ability to read DPM marks (improves lifetime product traceability) and IUID supporting (automatically separate and send the required information to your application).

The DS3508 delivers the ergonomic and operational features for scan-intensive industrial applications under the harshest operating conditions. An IP65-rated seal makes it impervious to dust and water, extreme temperatures and moisture. The device whistands multiple drops to concrete of up to 2 m. All of these makes the reader ideally suited to work in a warehouse, shopping distribution, retail, production halls, etc.

DS3508 provides multiple confirmation modes for positive user feedback in noisy environments (bright LEDs, an adjustable volume beeper and a vibrating pager motor). Omni-directional scanning function incresases time of reading speed by eliminating the need to line up the bar code with the scan line.

All the accessories dedicated to the previous series DS34X8 are suitable with DS3508 which eliminates the need to purchase additional equipment.
