The ultra-lightweight RS5100 wireless ring scanner from Zebra Technologies is a new generation of ring code scanners. It’s small sized, light weighted and rugged. Truly an interesting innovation that can save up to an hour and a half a day.

How is it possible to save 1.5h during an 8 hours shift? The RS5100 is designed to fit comfortably on the operator's index finger and read a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes without interrupting daily tasks such as carrying wares. With the best-in-class built-in 1D/2D scanning module, the SE4710 or SE4770 with standard range, is able to decode virtually any code in common use, quickly and reliably. Both variants are designed and manufactured by Zebra Technologies. The scanning engine is built in a sturdy head that can be removed from the ring if required. Thanks to its lightness and strength, the device can withstand many bumps and falls from a height of 1.8 metres to a hard, concrete surface, even at extreme temperatures. With a built-in 480 mAh battery, the RS5100 can be used for more than one full shift, providing 12 hours of power and 14400 readings on one charging.
