Newland HR42-HD is a device designed to raise the bar. It provides high performance and reliability of scanning. It is great at scanning high density codes, 1D and 2D codes printed on paper, plastic or metal, and direct park markings (DPM) as well as displayed on LCDs. Rugged, solid housing provides high shock resistance. HR42 is the most durable handheld scanner in Newland’s portfolio. Multiple drops from above 1.8m height cannot damage the scanner.
It connects to a PC by coiled 3m USB cable, or 2m cord with RS232 plug. When unused, the LED highlight automatically fades, just to turn on at once, when in use. This feature decreases energy consumption and increases workers comfort.
Due to its hardness, HR4250-H5 Halibut may be a perfect solution for industrial work environments, like warehouses, factories, home improvement stores and gardening retailers.
The scanner is offered in two variants:
HR42-SR – standard range
HR42-HD – short range
