MC17 is a mobile terminal designed for retail purposes, such as: supermarkets, pharmacies, wholesalers. It enables customers to check the the product price, to locate merchandise, to find complementary products and to use the personalized promotions; all of these in a fast and efficient way. It also speeds up the payment process at the checkout. By capturing information on customers and their buying preferences in real time, the MC17 turns each visit into actionable business intelligence. Retailers can easily deliver store promotions, personalized coupons and product information for cross-sell opportunities. In addition, the quick scan of a loyalty card allows retailers to identify the customer and present real-time special offers and discounts based on a wide variety of criteria, including dollar amount spent over a given period of time. MC17 comes with six function buttons and a color QVGA display to support multimedia content. Wireless WiFi 802.11 a / b / g provides flexibility and compatibility with a high traffic wireless environment. Equipped with Motorola PocketBrowser application allows you to create applications to integrates devices such as a data terminal and a mobile printer.
