Description

The housing of the device is rugged and very durable. Special curvy shapes were designed to optimize bending forces spread during an impact, so the device will resist multiple drops from above 1.8m high to the concrete surface. Moreover it has an IP65 sealing that assures full dust and water resistance.

The device is capable of reading every type of 2D codes of 4mils resoulution or bigger. It suits perfectly e.g. for reading symbologies from little electronic parts, or jewelry labels. Speed of the data transmission is about three times faster than in other comparable devices, which increases the workspeed noticeably. The constantly increasing digitisation trend is forcing barcode reader’s ability to read the codes from the surface of other devices displays. The AI-8620 manages this with no problem due to the imager technology implemented.

When the trigger is pressed, the reader is pointing a cross-shaped aimer, visible even in a very bright environmental light. This ability increases scanning speed markedly, especially in case of a big number of codes to read. The scanner will beep when the barcode just scanned, providing an audible confirmation that the barcode was successfully scanned. The loudness of the signal is adjustable dynamically, so the work is not fatiguing in every ambient noise.

Moreover, Argox includes DataMagic software – a helpful tool that lets edit given data which increases  efficiency. Configure friendly user’s interface in no time! There’s also a dedicated stand that may be placed on every flat surface, in every angle. Through this, the scanner becomes a legitimate stationary scanner. The presentative mode allows to scan fast e.g. in the packaging line.
