Description

The DS3578 digital scanner combines excellent 1D and 2D omnidirectional barcode scanning performance and advanced ergonomics in a lightweight design. The digital scanner ensures comfort and ease of use for extended periods of time. Integrated Bluetooth eliminates the cord between the scanner and the host which reduces downtime from cable breakdowns and enabling employees to move freely throughout the work environment. Scanner delivers extremely fast and accurate data capture of 1D/2D bar codes and images.

Symbol DS3578 delivers the ergonomic and operational features for scan-intensive industrial applications under the harshest operating conditions. An IP65-rated seal makes it impervious to dust and water, extreme temperatures and moisture. The device whistands multiple drops to concrete of up to 2 m. DS3578 provides multiple confirmation modes for positive user feedback in noisy environments (bright LEDs, an adjustable volume beeper and a vibrating pager motor). All of these makes the reader ideally suited to work in a warehouse, shopping distribution, retail, production halls, etc.

All the accessories dedicated to the previous series DS34X8 are suitable with DS3578 which eliminates the need to purchase additional equipment.
